Brett Moffitt’s late charge to the lead at Las Vegas Motor Speedway resulted in an 11th-place finish after fuel issues derailed his bid for victory on the final Overtime restart. The 11th-place result keeps Moffitt above the cut line in the NASCAR Camping World Truck Series (NCWTS) Playoff standings with an 18-point cushion.

Brett Moffitt earned his first-career road course victory at Watkins Glen International (WGI) after a furious dash through the field over the final nine laps in Friday’s Great Outdoors RV 100. Moffitt powered his No. 1 Gunma Toyopet Toyota Camry to his 10th-career victory in the NASCAR K&N Pro Series East (NKNPSE) and his first victory on the tour since 2013.

Welcome Back East … Friday afternoon’s Great Outdoors RV 100 at Watkins Glen International (WGI) marks Brett Moffitt’s first appearance in the NASCAR K&N Pro Series East (NKNPSE) in nearly five years. The driver of the No. 1 Gunma Toyopet Camry is making his return to the series for the first time since Road Atlanta in 2013. While he is now racing full-time in the NASCAR Camping World Truck Series (NCWTS), Moffitt’s relationship with team owner Shige Hattori began in the NKNPSE in 2012 when he captured the first victory for HRE at Richmond Raceway.

Brett Moffitt experienced an eventful night at Gateway Motorsports Park which resulted in a 14th-place finish. Moffitt led once for a total of 18 laps and scored the sixth-most points of any driver in the field during his first NASCAR Camping World Truck Series (NCWTS) start at Madison, Illinois’ 1.25-mile speedway.

For Brett Moffitt, Iowa wasn’t just his home on Saturday night, it was heaven. Moffitt fulfilled his destiny to win at his home track by leading the final 76 laps for his second NASCAR Camping World Truck Series (NCWTS) victory of the season. The Grimes, Iowa native captured his third-career NCWTS win in front of a large contingent of family and friends at Iowa Speedway on Father’s Day weekend, including his parents.
