Saturday evening’s M&M’s 200 serves as the homecoming for Grimes, Iowa’s Brett Moffitt. Not only will Moffitt make his first career NASCAR Camping World Truck Series (NCWTS) start at Iowa Speedway, but he will carry the colors of S.M.A.R.T. Series by Destiny Homes, based in Waukee, Iowa. Moffitt has already enjoyed some memorable moments at “The Fastest Short Track on the Planet”, including his first career NASCAR XFINITY Series start in 2012 and a trip to victory lane in the NASCAR K&N Pro Series in 2011.

HAMPTON, Ga. – Brett Moffit streaked into the lead on an overtime restart in Saturday’s Active Pest Control 200 at Atlanta Motor Speedway and pulled away to win the second NASCAR Camping World Truck Series race of his career. Diving to the inside and taking then-leader Myatt Snider and Johnny Sauter three-wide into the first corner on Lap 133 of 134, Moffitt beat Noah Gragson to the finish line by 1.326 seconds. Gragson charged from ninth to second on the penultimate lap and beat third-place finisher Johnny Sauter to the line by .014 seconds.

Brett Moffitt earned his best finish in the NASCAR Camping World Truck Series on Saturday at Pocono Raceway with a third-place finish. In two practice sessions at the 2.5-mile superspeedway on Friday, Moffitt posted the 14th and 13th fastest times in the red and black No. 11. On Saturday morning, qualifying was cancelled due to inclement weather and the field was set per the NASCAR Rule Book, with Moffitt rolling off in the 15th position for the 60-lap event.
