Grimes, IA (May 24, 2011) – After coming within ten laps of winning last year’s NASCAR K&N Pro Series East-West combination race, Brett Moffitt, driver of the No. 00 Michael Waltrip Racing Toyota, headed to Iowa Speedway looking for redemption. Moffitt didn’t disappoint the hometown crowd. After qualifying on the front row, Moffitt put on a dominating performance to claim the victory in the Pork Be Inspired 175.

Hi, everyone! Things have been pretty hectic here, so sorry it has been a while since I have written. As you probably know, we won the first NASCAR K&N Pro Series East race of the season. We sat on the pole and led every lap. That was awesome! I felt a lot of pressure heading into the season, especially because of what Ryan Truex had accomplished in the car so to perform up to those standards was such an accomplishment! I know it was only one race, but I think we can carry the momentum as we head into one of my best tracks, South Boston.
