Dallas Convention and Visitors Bureau Joins FRM for Texas Race

STATESVILLE, N.C. (November 2, 2015) - Brett Moffitt's No. 34 Ford Fusion at Texas Motor Speedway will encourage fans to think big when choosing a travel destination. The Dallas Convention and Visitors Bureau will be on board as primary sponsor for Sunday's race, reminding the NASCAR audience that "Big Things Happen Here."

The ninth-largest city in the United States, Dallas' recreational attractions, year-round sporting events, shopping venues, hotels and transportation systems make it the number-one visitor and leisure destination in Texas. The Convention and Visitors Bureau will use the partnership to remind race fans both watching on television and at the area track to check out VisitDallas.com to see all the city has to offer.

"Big things happen here in the Dallas area, and the Sprint Cup Series races at Texas Motor Speedway are always among the biggest races of the year," said Dallas Convention and Visitors Bureau Chief Marketing Officer Noelle LeVeaux. "We're happy to join the No. 34 team to remind fans that there are a lot of other big things to see and do in Dallas. We're hoping they'll extend their trip or come back again soon to see even more of what we have to offer."

The partnership will be the first for the non-profit organization and Front Row Motorsports.

"I love visiting Dallas when we go racing in Texas," said the 23-year-old Moffitt. "There's so much more to see and do than we can fit into the race weekend, but we try to do as much as we can. We hope our fans will check it out and do some exploring, too."

The No. 34 "Visit Dallas" Ford will feature the city's skyline on the hood and the reminder to check out VisitDallas.com on the quarter panels. The car will hit the track for practice sessions beginning Friday, with the main event, the AAA Texas 500, taking the green flag Sunday at 2 p.m. ET. The 334-lap event will air live on NBC.
