Sylvania 300, New Hampshire Motor Speedway, Loudon, N.H.

Brett Moffitt

No. 34 Dockside Logistics Ford
Started: 31st
Finished: 27th

"We didn't start the race that great, but we got the car handling better as the day went on. And then we were racing the 48 (Jimmie Johnson) for the Lucky Dog (free pass position), and he came up into us and we got spun into the wall. Fortunately, we were able to stay on track, but the damage was enough that it affected the handling of the car the rest of the race. So, not a bad day but it could've been better if not for the spin."

Cole Whitt

No. 35 Taco Bell Ford
Started: 28th
Finished: 24th

"Top-25s are our goal every week, so that's a good finish for us. We started out really tight, but the guys kept working at it and made it better. Randy (Cox) made some good calls to get us good track position and we were able to capitalize on that. I'm proud of our effort and hopefully we can do the same thing or better next week at Dover."

David Gilliland

No. 38 MDS Transport Ford
Started: 34th
Finished: 28th

"Flat tracks like Loudon definitely aren't my favorite, so they're always a challenge. Our MDS Ford was tight most of the day, but we got it handling better throughout the race. Donnie (Wingo) and the guys did a good job with that, and the pit crew had a good day as usual. We just needed a little more speed and could've had a couple more cautions fall our way."

October 4 - Dover International Speedway
