Grimes, Iowa (September 11, 2010) – After nearly a six week hiatus, Brett Moffitt, Joe Gibbs Racing development driver, returned to his racing roots and competed in the 2010 IMCA Super Nationals in his family-owned dirt car. Moffitt, who had previously continued to compete in select dirt car events after turning to the asphalt circuits, was unable to get much seat time in his dirt car this summer, due to commitments in the NASCAR K&N Pro Series East for Joe Gibbs Racing.

Hey everyone, how’s it going? I’m just hanging out this week, waiting to head to Loudon for the next NASCAR race. The IMCA Super Nationals last week in Boone, IA, went really well. I still enjoy racing dirt cars whenever I can.

Hey everyone, how’s it going? I hope you all had a good weekend. We raced in the NASCAR K&N Pro Series race at Gresham Motorsports Park on Saturday night in Georgia. We had a very good top-five run going, until we got involved in another racer’s wreck. It was really disappointing, because we’ve lost a few great runs this year due to circumstances we could not control[South Boston, Phoenix, and Iowa], but the bright side is that we have been strong at all tracks. I am very excited that the final two races are taking place at Cup tracks and with such a large focus on the series.
