Brett Moffitt and the Hattori Racing Enterprises (HRE) #11 Toyota team headed to New Hampshire Motor Speedway (NHMS) in Loudon, NH for the 11th race of the 2012 season, taking with them a 20 point lead in the NASCAR K&N Pro Series East championship point standings. Thanks to Michael Waltrip Racing (MWR) and Travis Pastrana, Moffitt was able to bring the same car he drove to Victory Lane at NHMS in 2011. The #11 HRE team hauled the car to the “Magic Mile” and crewed it, so the weekend’s racing was genuinely a joint endeavor by the two teams.

Brett Moffitt, driver of the Hattori Racing Enterprises (HRE) #11 Toyota, will carry a 20 point lead in the championship point standings into the next race at New Hampshire Motor Speedway (NHMS) on Saturday, September 22nd, for the G-Oil 100. Moffitt has a total of 9 wins, 7 poles, 28 top fives, and 34 top 10s in his 43 career starts in the NASCAR K&N Pro Series East. With only 4 races remaining on the 2012 schedule, HRE will also maintain its 20 point lead in the owner point standings.

Grimes, IA (October 6, 2011) - Brett Moffitt headed to Dover, DE, for the NASCAR K&N Pro Series East season finale with two goals in mind - to earn his third straight win on Dover’s “Monster Mile” and to bring Michael Waltrip Racing their third consecutive season championship. Moffitt came within three laps of potentially doing exactly that, until a cut tire cost him the win and erased any chance of his first NASCAR championship and of MWR’s third.
