"We had some mechanical issues during our day, with the fuel pump and then a plug wire. Unfortunately, a short track like Martinsville is a tough place to have to work on stuff like that because you lose laps quickly..."

Brett Moffitt, driver of the Hattori Racing Enterprises (HRE) No. 11 KOBE Toyopet Toyota, claimed another podium finish at the first road course run by the NASCAR K&N Pro Series East since 2010. Moffitt arrived at Virginia International Raceway (VIR) in Alton, VA second in the season point standings, with a 21 point deficit.
